Craft
This adorable Teddy Bear puzzle is a great craft for the party guests to make. You can find all the directions for making this craft at the website.
Activity
Teddy Bear Dress Up
Before the party, cut out Teddy Bear shapes (using a cookie cutter as a guide) for the party guests to decorate. Use brown cardstock paper to trace and cut out the Teddy Bears. Also cut out various outfits of dresses, shorts, shirts, purses, bows, etc. that the children can use to dress up their bear. You can use fabric or construction paper. At the party, give each child a glue stick, wiggly eyes, a red mouth, and a brown pom-pom for the bear's nose. Let the children decorate their bear to take home.
Cake and Food
You can probably find a bear shaped cake tin at a party supply store. Another idea would be to bake a sheet cake and decorate it with brown icing. Use plastic Teddy Bear figures to decorate the cake. You can make grass spots with green icing and sand with sprinkled brown sugar.
Serve Teddy Bear shaped peanut butter and jelly sandwiches using a cookie cutter to get the bear shape, along with a fruit and veggie tray with various fun dips. Don't forget the Teddy Graham Crackers!
Goodie Bags
Goodie bags can include Teddy Bear coloring books, crayons, a snack bag of Teddy Grahams, Teddy Bear stickers, gummy bears, squiggly straws, drinking cups with a bear on them, and Teddy Bear hair accessories.
