The ideas below may help you when teaching your preschoolers a lesson about Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead. Feel free to use these ideas to supplement your current curriculum or to make your own lesson.
Story Suggestion
John 11:1-44
Game Ideas
Statues
Directions: Play this traditional kids game that is fun for everyone. Play music while all the children move around and dance while the music is playing. When the music stops the children must stand like statues. Anyone who moves is out of the game. Start the music again and repeat as many times as you want.
Linen Wrap Race
Directions: Bring multiple rolls of new toilet paper to class. Divide the children into teams of two. Play music while one team member wraps their partner in toilet paper, trying to cover as much of their body as they can before the music stops. Two teams will compete against each other at a time. When the music stops, whoever has covered their teammate the most wins that round. Play until all of the teams have had a turn, or until all teams have had a chance to switch partners so all of the children can be wrapped in toilet paper.
